Scullers Head to London
RUBC took to the tideway for Scullers Head, with strong representation 💪
It was an impressive start to the season, with victories from Men’s Captain Josh Lyon in the U23 category, and Matt Long in the Lwt event 💜
Jack Bates took a close 2nd in the Lwt race and Ethan Walters added another 2nd in the U23 category. Zara Povey achieved another podium for RUBC, coming 3rd in the Women’s U23 category, closely followed by the beast that is Isobel Buridge.
The rest of the squad performed well at this early stage of the season, with Shannon Whelehan and Trent Abraham coming 7th in their respective U23 events, as well as Millie Clench and Ryne Robson finishing 8th in those same categories.
The squad now looks ahead to both Pairs Head & Reading Small Boats next weekend 🚣🏻♂️
