Two of our Clams, Ellie and Matt recently raced at Holland-Beker regatta in Amsterdam.

The Holland-Beker Regatta, first held in 1886, has played an important role in the international rowing calendar for years. Many foreign teams race here in preparation for other major tournaments across Europe. This competition has proven to play an important role for many athletes on their way to World Rowing Cups, World Rowing Championships, as well as many other international competitions such as Henley Royal Regatta.

Entered as Team GB Matt and Ellie represented RUBC in their singles and had a great weekend of international racing, displaying very competitive performances for young athletes being placed in the senior category alongside Olympians.

- Matt 5th in the A-Final
- Ellie 2nd in the B-Final
