"Friends" welcome

RUBC hosted a visit from “The Friends of University” in early March. They enjoyed the spectacle of an ergo relay and they socialised with the students and coaches afterwards.

The Friends of the University of Reading is an association founded in 1927 to foster contact between the University and those interested in its educational goals, its history, its current activities and its future development.

They have been keen supporters of the Boat Club for over a century and helped with funding for boats, oars, rowing machines and even the building of one of the boat houses back in 1928.

RUBC are very grateful and appreciative for all the Friends do for us, thank you.
