We are University Champions 🥇🥇

RUBC had an incredibly successful weekend at BUCS head, taking home 4 golds and a silver medal. 💜

The day started strong with the Open Championship 4x storming to victory by an impressive 31 second margin and setting the standard as the fastest time in Division 1. The Open Intermediate 4x field followed shortly after and RUBC dominated, taking Gold and Silver, with the ‘A’ crew posting the second fastest time of the division behind our Champ crew!

In the afternoon division, our Women’s Championship and Intermediate 4x’s took to the water. Our Women’s Championship 4x claimed a decisive victory by 21 seconds, and our Women’s Inter ‘A’ boat finished a close 4th in their category. Also in Division 2 was the Men’s Intermediate Lwt 4x, who claimed Gold in a strong row.

The remainder of the squad performed strongly, with many athletes at their first BUCS event, and we are incredibly proud of all of the hard work paying off 💜
