Further Success at Upper Thames Head 2019

We’ve reached the end of October with another weekend of successful racing for our crews! This time we took 6 quads to Upper Thames Head in Henley, 3 of which came away with first place medals!

Full results are as follows:

Band 1 4X:

  • 1st Place: Laurence/Dom/Tiernan/Henry

  • 2nd Place: Tom C/Joe/Alex/Jacob

Band 2 4X

  • 2nd Place: Tom S/Ed DB/Luca/Harry W

Band 1 W4X:

  • 1st Place: Sophie/Maria/Rosie/Victoria

Op 4X:

  • 1st Place: Benji/Nik/Matt/Will

  • 3rd Place: Ben/Harvey/Jack/Ryan

AND

Op 2X

  • 2nd Place: (RUBC Alumni) John/Bruce

It’s fantastic to enter so many head races this early on in the season, setting us up nicely for the remaining winter training and races. Here at RUBC, we’re very proud of our athletes for getting so stuck in. Next up: GB trials and the Fours Head!
