Reading Small Boats Head 2019

15 RUBC crews raced through the rain at Reading Small Boats Head last Saturday. A total of 443 boats took to the Thames in Caversham to race the 3.7km course. 

For some it was the first race of the season, and for our freshers it was the first time racing for RUBC. Both our freshers and seniors placed well across all three divisions, with the men’s intermediate quad (Alex Badcott, Laurence O’Connor, Joe Pitt and Charles Powell) covering the course in the 3rd fastest time of the day.
